Our Global Broking teams provide natural flows, market analysis, trading ideas and execution solutions across Europe, the US and Apac.

Cash Equity

Our London and Paris cash equity desks are composed of seasoned professionals hailing from banking, brokerage, sales, and analyst backgrounds. We provide equity solutions and optimize client access to special situations, specializing in equity, options and rights.

We offer broad access to global markets, covering the Americas, Europe and Asia. Our clients include hedge funds (special situation; long/short), asset managers (long; pension funds), delta1 desks, volatility desks, proprietary trading and program trading desks.

We provide our clients with two primary types of research products: Market Watch and Special Situations. The aim of Market Watch is to provide market mover information and trade ideas, including: daily morning news, market monitoring, press at a glance, broker note summary, earning result preview, trading ideas, US and EU macro research. The aim of Special Situations is to provide special situation trade ideas and news flow, including: daily news, risk arbitrage, share class, right issue, stub trading, Dutch auction and other special situations.

Our trading team is dedicated to providing the best execution through personal service covering: single stock equity execution, basket trading, program trading, algorithmic trading, pairs trading, FIX orders through an OMS system and volume-weighted average price (VWAP).

Commodities

Our London commodities desk offers execution services for energy in both paper and physical. Our innovative team has drawn many of its members from sales teams and dealers at leading banks and institutions. Along with flow trading, we structure hedging programs to ensure that our clients’ risks are professionally managed and their profits maximized.

Our team is well versed in the execution and clearing of derivatives transactions, generating both systematic and ad hoc market solutions. We pride ourselves on our strong commodity index expertise, offering experience across a wide variety of global contracts, combined with leading technologies in e-trading and order-routing, ensuring a solid competitive edge in fast-moving markets.

Our client base is broad, allowing us to provide additional liquidity, market intelligence and price discovery where necessary. It includes oil companies, refiners, asset managers, hedge funds, corporate clients, trading houses, financial institutions and institutional investors.

We offer algorithmic trading systems, risk management and financing. We cover all energy markets (listed, OTC and physical) and provide comprehensive direct market access (DMA) to exchange-listed, traditional and alternative investment instruments.

Equity Derivatives

The Equity Derivatives desks at Market Securities boast a number of specialised derivative experts. We have market leading teams in single stock options, index derivatives, delta one products and exotics and offer global coverage of a wide array of equity derivative products.

Our existing network of major interbank dealers and market-makers gives us access to large pools of liquidity that provide our clients with the best possible opportunities. Our broad range of clients includes investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds and insurance companies.

Fixed Income + OTC Interest Rate

The Emerging Market desk is one of the leading global off-screen providers of large size execution liquidity covering a broad and diverse client base.

Market Securities credit products have been aggressively extended over the last few years to now provide expert coverage in Government, Sovereign and Corporate Bonds in Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, the Commonwealth of Independent States and Latin America.

In addition to our existing expertise in exchange traded products, we offer OTC hedging instruments on rate and volatility exposure.

We are an active player in interest rate options (caps, floors and swaptions).

We also trade exotic products like CMS (Constant Maturity Swap), CMS cap/floors, CMS spread options and Bermudan swaptions.

We are able to report permitted transactions into the leading SEFs in the IDB market.

Future and Options

Our London-based Fixed Income Listed Derivatives desk offers execution capabilities and liquidity for futures and options products, with a particular focus on short-term interest rates, on ICE-LIFFE, EUREX and CME/CBOT. Since its establishment our desk has built and maintained excellent market-maker and end-user relationships. Our client base covers a broad range of institutions, including: corporate and investment banks, hedge funds, pension funds and asset managers.

As a small team with many years of trading, broking and analytical experience, we offer our clients tailored structured solutions suited to their individual needs, as well as strategy recommendations based on our own best-in-class analysis. Throughout the process, we ensure client confidentiality and offer services incorporating both technical as well as fundamental research and strategy from within the team.

We deliver our own independent research, supplying our clients with a diverse array of impartial, in-house analysis. The research conducted by our desk aims at promoting broad themes in their infancy and offering thought-provoking fundamental analysis. Our sought-after team of experts makes regular appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business News, among others, producing research for our clients in collaboration with our award-winning economics department in Paris. We provide award-winning technical commentary, macro commentary, flow data, relative value research on interest rate curves and live volatility surface modelling in options markets.

FX Spot & FX Options

Our FX spot and FX options desks are run by seasoned professionals with many years of foreign exchange broking experience at world-leading firms. We deal with a range of clients, including: hedge funds, corporate clients, investment banks and non-bank liquidity providers.

We offer a specialist electronic FX market execution venue delivering low-latency access to tailored FX liquidity pools via GUI and API.

We offer FX options solutions on a variety of products ranging from vanillas to exotics across most currency pairs. We provide value-added execution, access to increased liquidity via market makers and dealers, complete anonymity, trade ideas and research services
